Peppermint Moose Balls

Ingredients
  • 1 Package of Peppermint Oreos*
  • 8 oz of Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 12 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Candy Cane, crushed
Instructions
  1. Using a food processor (or plastic bag and rolling pin, pulse until the oreos are crushed
  2. Mix the oreos and the cream cheese until fully combined
  3. Roll the mixture into 25 balls about 1 inch in size and set on baking sheet lined with wax paper and refrigerate for and hour
  4. Working in two batches, melt half the chocolate in the microwave on high for 45 seconds and stir, if more time is needed work in increments of 10-15 seconds and stir well in between each one.
  5. Coat each ball in the chocolate and top with a sprinkle of crushed candy cane, refrigerate for another hour to set the coating.
Notes
*If you can't get the peppermint oreos (I could not find them last year!) then at a ½ - ¾ of a crushed candy cane to regular oreos!
